Safekey Program

busLegosClark County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that it will be now offering an after school Safekey Program at Explore Knowledge Academy! Clark County Parks & Recreation Safekey is an after school recreational based program. It is offered, for a fee, to EKA students aged 4 1⁄2 – 13. The Safekey Program will offer participants a safe, healthy environment where they can enjoy indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, a structured reading program, and a healthy snack.

The Safekey program at EKA will begin on August 23rd and will continue through the school year. Program hours are 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Tuesdays – Fridays. The Safekey Program will be closed on all Federal, State, and County holidays. In addition, the program at EKA will only operate on days that school is in session (there will be no afternoon Safekey on half days).

Registration paperwork MUST be completed and turned in to the Safekey Administrative Office located at Sunset Park. The Safekey Program at EKA is a prepaid program. Payments can be made in person (at the Sunset office or Clark County Recreation Centers) or online. A payment MUST be made prior to children attending Safekey. Further payment details and program descriptions can be found on the Safekey website and in the parent handbook. (Note: EKA Staff will NOT accept any payments for Safekey.)
