Nate Bolton has worked for Explore Knowledge since the year the school opened in 2003. He has taken the school from 30 computers to nearly 400 computers, all managed solely by himself. Nate introduced the school to the Linux Terminal Server Project, a free and open source operating system used by EKA students which has allowed the school to significantly expand its computer network despite small technology budgets.
