Latest EKA News
After practicing their dance moves for many weeks, the EKA student body gathered on the field to celebrate and support National School Choice Week last Tuesday. Mr. Art Vivas with GoProEntertainment.com was there with GoPro cameras and a flying drone to capture the celebration.
The students quickly lined up and spread themselves out, eagerly awaiting the start of the music. Large speakers were set up to play the music and dance leaders were chosen to dance out front of everyone. The students danced over and over to facilitate the capture of the dance on video, every dance proving more fun than the last. When it comes time for the students to return to class, a chant starts up, “One more time, one more time….” And they danced one more time.
National School Choice Week provides an unprecedented opportunity, every January, to shine a positive spotlight on the need for effective education options for all children. EKA supports school choice and believes that parents should choose the best learning environment for their children. EKA strives to provide unsurpassed personal learning in a safe and nurturing environment, and we are proud of those families who have chosen to make EKA their school of choice.

I want to make sure my students have the materials they need to succeed. So I’ve created a classroom project request at DonorsChoose.org, an award-winning charity.
I’m asking for donations of any size to help my kids. For the next three days, any donation you make to my project will be doubled (up to $100). If you know anyone who is passionate about education, please pass this along. Your donation will brighten my students’ school year, and you’ll get photos and thank yous from our class.
Here’s my classroom request:
To have your donation matched dollar for dollar, enter the promo code SPARK on the payment screen. This awesome match offer lasts through January 24.
My students and I greatly appreciate your support.
