EKA Student Accepts NCAA Division I Athletic Golf Scholarship

Bradley Keyer, Explore Knowledge Academy (EKA) Senior, signed a National Letter of Intent on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 4:05pm to accept an athletic golf scholarship to play for San Jose State University in the fall of 2014.  Bradley chose San Jose State University (SJSU) because he liked the smaller university atmosphere, location (SJSU is located by the Silicon Valley and plans on pursuing a degree in Engineering) and coach (SJSU coach is a former PGA Tour player and has helped numerous athletes turn professional).

Bradley has been a student at Explore Knowledge Academy since sixth grade (2007-2008). He plays high school varsity golf (team captain for two years) for Coronado High School but maintains his academic allegiance to Explore Knowledge Academy. Bradley chose EKA over Coronado High School in the academic arena because of the small class sizes and the personal attention.  Bradley says, “I like that my teachers take the time to know me and I really like the family atmosphere at EKA.”

Bradley has played competitive golf since the age of six and dreams of playing on the PGA (Professional Golf Association) Tour.
